Description of the technique Femtosecond Laser and High-resolution and high-sampling rate autocorrelator. High average and peak power and repetition rate up to 1 MHz at 1030 nm allow fast micromachining of hard materials as well as efficient vaporization of solids for pulsed laser ablation and deposition.
